Mithali Raj and Jhulan Goswami were nominated to the ICC Women's ODI Team of 2021 on Thursday. The only two Indians on the team are Mithali and Jhulan. Heather Knight of England will lead the team. Three South Africans, one Australian, two West Indians, and two England make up the squad. For a number of years, the England Women's captain has been a critical gear in their middle-order, and she was one of the best performers in that position once again in 2021.
Knight hit 423 runs this season, averaging 42.30 runs per game, with one century and three fifties.
Mithali Raj, the veteran India batter and captain, scored the same amount of runs and had the same average as Beaumont.
In 2021, Goswami claimed a total of 15 wickets while maintaining a good economy rate of 3.77.
