Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga said that North-East India will always be one. This comes a day after Assam advised its people to not travel to Mizoram due to the unprecedented gunfight between the police forces of the two states.
Mizoram Chief Minister tweeted his government’s notification that there will be no restriction on non-Mizos traveling through Kolasib district.
The government notification read, “It is hereby notified that there shall be no restriction on the movement of non-residents of Mizoram traveling through Kolasib district. Mizo residents are also advised to allow no disturbance and to cause no harm to non-locals within Kolasib district in connection with the inter-state boundary issue at Mizoram Assam Border.”
