Pakistan: Imran Khan's Govt On Verge Of Collapse, No-Confidence Motion In Parliament!

Opposition groups are in the last stages of talks with governing PTI government partners, just days after a no-confidence vote was filed against Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan. The government alliance is expected to fall apart "in a matter of days, if not hours," opposition officials told Pakistan's Dawn daily.

The allies have already agreed to leave the government coalition, according to a senior leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), as stated by Dawn.

A no-confidence motion signed by roughly 100 members from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) was brought to the National Assembly Secretariat earlier this week. The leaders said that Imran Khan's government was to blame for soaring prices and the country's economic collapse.

PM Imran, on the other hand, refuted these charges.

It's worth mentioning that Imran Khan's party does not have an outright majority in the Pakistani parliament and had to form a coalition with minor parties to administer the country.

Imran Khan's political party In the Pakistan Assembly, the PTI has 155 members. Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz, on the other hand, has 84 MLAs, PPP has 56, MMA has 15, MOM P has 7, PML-Q has five, and BAP has five. Apart from them, 14 MPs belong to other political parties.

To overthrow Imran Khan's government, the opposition only needs ten MPs. His anti-Imran Khan allies are now reported to be siding with the opposition. In a rally, Imran Khan said he will confront the distrust with a reprimand.
