PM, CM Have No Right To Demolish Someone's House Without Investigation: Congress CM

In the aftermath of the Madhya Pradesh government bulldozing the homes of persons accused of stone pelting during the Ram Navami procession, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot claimed that even the Prime Minister does not have the authority to demolish someone's house without investigations.

"Who has given you this right?" CM Gehlot said. Even the Chief Minister and Prime Minister do not have the authority to demolish someone's home without first conducting an investigation and finding a guilty party. Consider what innocent people are up to."

In response to the recent violence in Karauli, Gehlot challenged the BJP whether, while accusing the Rajasthan government of detaining innocent people, it would be right to send bulldozers into the homes of those arrested?
