Priyanka Gandhi Launches Three-Pronged ‘Pratigya Yatra’ Throughout Uttar Pradesh

Gearing up for the upcoming Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh in 2022, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi has launched a ‘Pratigya Yatra’ that will announce electoral pledges in the poll-bound state. The tour will be divided into three sections and it aims to cover the entirety of Uttar Pradesh.

The first route will start from Varanasi and end in Rae Bareilly, covering districts such as Chandauli, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, and Amethi. The second route will begin from Barabanki, cross Bundelkhand, and end in Jhansi, covering Lucknow, Unao, Fatehpur, Chitrakoot.  The third route is planed from Saharanpur to Mathura, covering the wester part of the state including the Braj region.

Priyanka Gandhi will kick off the electoral tour from Barabanki and the party will announce its seven pledges in this duration, which includes the promiseof free scooties and smartphones for young women.
