A story by conservative-leaning US tabloid New York Post on Democratic candidate Joe Biden's son Hunter Biden garned a massive 2.59m interactions (likes, comments, shares) on Facebook and Twitter last week despite censorhip by both social media giants, reported Axios.
The controversial story which was suppressed due to factual inaccuracies and misinformation became the most talked about election story on Facebook, Twitter.
Twitter, Facebook decision to cut down the reach of the story turned out to counter-productive since it became the topic of the week for Americans ahead of the Presidential elections on November 3.
