22 officials present during the rescue operations of a plane crash in Kerala's Kozhikode last week have tested positive for COVID-19, as per the Malappuram medical officer.
Under the Central Govt's Vande Bharat Mission, an Air India Express plane was flying with 184 passengers from Dubai which shot off the runway in Kozhikode, causing several deaths.
"They were quarantined after the rescue operations at the plane crash site ended. Most of them were on location," the district medical officer said.
