Air Quality Likely To Deteriorate In Delhi From Monday: SAFAR

As farmers start stubble burning in the neighbouring states, the air quality in the national capital is deteriorating. According to the government forecast agency SAFAR, the capital's air on Saturday has been recorded in the 'medium' category. However, SAFAR forecasts that the air quality in Delhi is likely to go into the poor category from Monday.

If the air quality is between 0-50, then it means that the air quality is excellent. When the air quality is between 51-100 is in the middle range and it has a bad effect on people sensitive to air pollution. At the same time, air quality is counted in the severe category when AQI is recorded between 151-200. Whereas AQI recorded between 201-300 has a bad effect on health. At the same time, if AQI reaches above 301, then it gets much worse for people with various diseases.

According to SAFAR, the air quality in the national capital, Delhi is currently moderate. While air quality in Pune is under a good category, AQI in Mumbai and Ahmedabad is in the satisfactory category.
