Today, Akhilesh Yadav held a press conference and retorted to the BJP which has been taking jibes at him and his party for ‘failing’ to retain members of his family, two of whom have flocked to the BJP. Yadav “thanked” the BJP for ending the ‘dynasticism’ in his party which the latter keeps complaining of.
He also targeted the incumbent BJP in the state and ruling at the Centre, saying that privatization and outsourcing are means by which the deprived and backward sections, along with the poor, are kept away from the rights given to them by the Constitution. He said “privatization is a means in their hands to precent reservations from being implemented”.

Akhilesh Yadav said during today’s press conference that his government would resume the old pension scheme for government employees who had joined at or before 2005. He said this will benefit the teachers, employees and officers of the state government. These employees have been agitating for the old pension scheme for a long time.
He also took swipes at the BJP since two of its prominent OBC leaders have joined his party. He said “Swami Prasad Maurya ji and Dharam Singh Saini ji are poplar leaders, and people are behind them. We are winning the race of perception and are ahead of the BJP”
