The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Saturday announced the news dates for the upcoming white-ball series between India and Sri Lanka. This comes after a couple of support staff members from the Sri Lankan camp tested positive for coronavirus.
ICC tweeted, “The #SLvIND white-ball series has been rescheduled. The ODIs will now take place on 18, 20 and 23 July while the three T20Is will be played on 25, 27 and 29 July.”
Indian Batsman Shikhar Dhawan will lead the Men in Blue in Sri Lanka and is all set to make his international captaincy debut.
The series was originally set to start on July 13.
