India’s total cases of the Omicron variant of the coronavirus. 9 cases have been confirmed in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The nine new cases were all linked to a single family who had recently traveled to South Africa. One person in Pune, and six in Pimpri-Chinchwad, tested positive in Maharashtra, bringing the state’s tally to seven. One person has also tested positive for the new Omicron variant in Delhi.
