PV Ramanujan, a senior journalist from Jharkhand and bureau manager of Press Trust of India in Ranchi, has been found dead in his house. After the initial investigation, it has been said that for the last few days PV Ramanujan was under a lot of pressure at work and he committed suicide by hanging himself.
According to the Ranchi Police, the dead body of the journalist was found hanging from the ceiling fan in his house. He had made his office in one part of the house. As usual, he was working till late night in his office on Wednesday night and in the morning his body was found hanging from the ceiling fan.
Ranchi's SP Naushad Alam Ansari has inspected the occasion and talked to P. Subbalakshmi, wife of journalist PV Ramanujan. According to him, PV Ramanajun was under a lot of stress for four-five days. SIT will be set up to investigate the matter.

Journalist PV Ramanujan is survived by his wife in Ranchi and a son who is studying management in Bhubaneswar.
