Mamata Banerjee's criticism of the Congress' legitimacy has enraged West Bengal Chief Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, who has labelled the Trinamool Congress chief a BJP agent.
He went on to say that Congress has 20% of the entire vote share of the opposition in India, and he asked the Trinamool chief where his party stood in politics.
"All the political parties that want to fight the BJP, they should get together," Mamata Banerjee said earlier on Friday, referring to the outcomes of the recently ended assembly elections in five states in which the Congress suffered a humiliating defeat. Congress is losing its credibility, and we can't rely on it."
"Mad people have no right to answer," Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury stated in response to his statement. In India, the Congress has 700 MLAs. Is it in Didi's possession? Congress controls 20% of the opposition's entire vote share. Is that it? Is it in their possession? She says things like this because she works for the BJP and acts as its agent.
