Why Was Vijay Shekhar Sharma, CEO Of Paytm, Detained?

In a rash driving case, Paytm CEO Vijay Shekhar Sharma was arrested by the Delhi Police last month and eventually released on bail.

The Paytm founder was allegedly driving a Land Rover when it collided with the car of the South Delhi District Police Commissioner, according to police.

According to the complaint, DCP Benita Marie Jacker's car was struck by a speeding Land Rover outside Mother International School on February 22. Sharma then bolted from the scene.

Constable Deepak Kumar, the DCP's driver, was driving the vehicle. According to police, the driver took down the Land Rover's licence plate number and promptly contacted the DCP.

The automobile was registered with a firm in Gurugram, according to early research. The car belongs to Vijay Shankar Sharma, a resident of South Delhi, according to the company's employees.
