The Ukrainian government has announced the opening of a humanitarian corridor for the evacuation of civilians and foreign nationals and it is being reported that buses have started moving on the appointed routes. Union Minister Hardeep Singh puri said that all 694 students have been evacuated from Sumy. earlier India complained at the UN: “We are deeply concerned that despite our repeated urgings to both sides, the safe corridor for our students stranded in Sumy did not materialize”.
