Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 Gets Through Rajya Sabha
The controversial Citizenship Amendment Bill 2019 was passed in the Rajya Sabha after voting. 125 votes were polled in favour of the Bill while 105 votes went against the Bill. The C(A)B will now need President Kovind’s assent to become law.
