Eight MPs who were suspended for unruly behaviour with Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh, staged a sit-in in the Parliament complex all night. The suspended MPs have described the action taken on them as unjust. The MPs who are in protest are Derek O'Brien, Sanjay Singh, Raju Satav, KK Ragesh, Ripun Bora, Dola Sen, Syed Nazir Hussain and Ilamaran Karim. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor met the suspended MPs at night, then Deputy Chairman Harivansh Narayan Singh reached for tea in the morning and spoke to them. Suspended MP Raju Satava wrote, 'Demonstration is still going on in Parliament House premises against the attempt to kill democracy in Parliament and against the anti-farmer dictatorial mindset of the Modi government. Our protest will continue.'
