An FIR has been lodged against Patanjali's Baba Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna, for forgery, who recently claimed to have found the COVID-19 'cure'. An FIR under section 420 has been filed accusing Ramdev of misleading propaganda about coronavius medicine 'Coronil'.
Apart from these two, a case has also been registered against those who have claimed to have made COVID-19 medicines. These include scientist Anurag Varshney, National Institute of Medical Science President Balbir Singh Tomar and Director Anurag Tomar.
