In view of the increasing cases of coronavirus, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat has announced the lockdown on Saturday and Sunday. State Chief Secretary Utpal Kumar Singh said that from now on till the next order, the lockdown will remain in force on Saturday and Sunday in the capital Dehradun, Haridwar, Nainital, and Udham Singh Nagar. According to the new guidelines, now people moving to and from different states and districts will have to register themselves on the state government’s web portal smartcitydehradun.uk.gov.in.
