Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday leveled scathing attack against Punjab's chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi saying that internal disputes in the party has weakened the  government which cannot bring prosperity and development to the state.

While condemning the series of incidents in the state, including sacrilege lynching and Ludhiana court blast, Kejriwal demanded strict punishment for those "deliberately disturbing peace" of Punjab. He also attacked previous governments for their inaction on cases of sacrilege, saying that it sends the message that the government is siding with the culprits.

While addressing a gathering at Punjab's Gurdasapur, The Delhi CM has said that the state needs a strong and actionable government.

"We will give such a government, which will not fight with each other. Today, I will go from the land of this country to Punjab with a guarantee that if the government of the common man comes, we will maintain peace and order in Punjab. We will give security to every person and brotherhood will be increased within Punjab."
