Madhya Pradesh: Debt-ridden Farmer Commits Suicide In Sehore

Nannulal Verma, a 55-year-old debt-ridden farmer, committed suicide due to bad crop this season in MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan's home-town Sehore. The Sehore police had earlier claimed that the farmer committed suicide not because of a bad crop, but because of a fight with his wife. But what's noteworthy is that his wife had already died 25 years ago. According to Verma's son Santosh, Verma had a loan of about Rs 7 lakh for pipeline in the house and field. The source of income was lost due to poor soybean crop and crop insurance amount was not received due to which Verma hanged himself
