Meerut: Pirated NCERT Books Worth Rs 35 Crore Seized From Godown Belonging To BJP Leader's Son

NCERT Books worth Rs 35 crore have been recovered from a godown during a raid in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut district. Uttar Pradesh Police said that six printing machines have also been recovered. In the initial investigation, it is revealed that the mastermind of printing fake books is Sachin Gupta, son of Sanjeev Gupta, leader of Meerut BJP, and is on the run. On Friday, 12 people were detained in the Special Task Force and police raids. Pirated NCERT books being printed here were being sold in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Delhi book markets.
