The Health Minister addressed a press conference today on PM Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission from National Media Centre. He said that there were various initiativs for establishing 'preventive care' such as 'Fit India', 'Khelo India' Ayushman Wellness Centres. District health infrastructure must be strengthened, and work has begun to provide each district with a medical college. 

The conference then talked about the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, launched on 27th September, under which citizens will have electronic health records and improe "access to health leveraging technology". The PM Ayushman Bharat health Infrastructure Mission launched yesterday on 25th October is aimed at building new infrastructure and strengthen existing institutions to make India ready to face any pandemic or health emergency in the future.
