Farmers are facing difficulties to sell their crops as the moisture measuring machine at the ‘mandi’ is not measuring the right moisture contents of grains.

A farmer in Amritsar, Charanjeet, said, “We checked the moisture content of grain at home, it was 12 but now at ‘mandi’ it shows 13. We had e-pass for one day only, now we have to wait for 4 to 5 days to procure another e-pass, what will happen to our crop during this time?”
