Common people, activists, and journalists speaking about the alleged anti-Muslim #communal violence in Tripura are being booked under various provisions of the #IPC and #UAPA. Two women journalists, Sammriddhi K. Sakunia and Swarna Jha, alleged that the police entered their hotel room on Sunday in Assam, detained them without showing them a copy of the FIR against them, and then took them to #Tripura where they were charged with offences such as disrupting communal harmony.
