CM Nitish Kumar was to inaugurate the Bangaraghat bridge on Wednesday morning through video conferencing, but on Tuesday night, the approach road connecting the bridge around 12:30 was washed away in floodwaters. As soon as the 50-meter road was broken, the top officials of the Bridge Construction Corporation of the Bihar government reached the spot and the road was repaired by gathering more than two JCB machines and hundreds of labourers. Interestingly, the repair work was completed exactly 30 minutes before the inauguration.
