Reacting to PM Narendra Modi's address to the nation today, Congress spokesperson and leader Gaurav Vallabh said in a press conference that "when there was no vaccine adequacy the Prime Minister was talking about vaccine diplomacy". He criticizedthe vaccination policy of the gvernment and its decisoin to export vaccines when they were not available for the working people and youth of the country itself.

He also pointed out that 18.88% vaccination rate in Uttar Pradesh is the lowest in the country and yet the PM saw it fit to go and praise UP CM Yogi Adityanath, and brought up the dfact that the "world and its journalists have see bodies floating the Ganga" in reference to the rampant deaths caused by COVID.

He slammed the Prime Minister for 'celebrating' 100 crore vaccines and his government's corona response while there were people grieving for their loved ones who were lost to Covid. Instead, he said, the PM should have apologized to the families of over 50 lakh people who died and provide them economic assistance.

Vallabh held the government's feet to sre regarding its promise of fully inoculating all adults by end of this year, and asked if India can administer 206 crore doses by 31st December. he also came down heavily on the PM for claiming that this is the "first time" that India has made an indigenous vaccine, and said that India "is the mother of vaccines" worldwide and this comment is an insult to scientists, pharma industrialists, doctors, and other professionals.
