Amid the spike in Coronavirus cases, lockdowns are being imposed again in many states. The West Bengal government has now announced a fresh lockdown in many areas, including the capital Kolkata. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has said that there will be a strict lockdown in the Containment and Buffer Zones of the state. At the same time, the state capital Kolkata will undergo a strict lockdown from July 9 which will remain in force till July 31.
