A Dehradun woman has accused BLP MLA Mahesh Singh Negi of rape and fathering her daughter, born in May this year. The woman filed a complaint with the Dehradun police an said that a DNA test can be conducted to find out the truth. However, two days before the rape complaint, the MLA's wife lodged an FIR against the accused woman and her family members. It has been said in the FIR that the woman was demanding five crore rupees from the MLA and threatened to register a rape case. According to Dehradun DIG Arun Mohan Joshi, the police is investigating the allegations leveled from both sides.
