Akhilesh Yadav addressed a 'Deprived, backward, Dalit, and Minority' mahapachayat today in which he said that people should close the doors on BJP and remove the party from power. He addressed a wide cross section of people in efforts to galvanize voters ahead of the 2022 Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh. 

He said this is an election to reclaim lost dignitiy and rights, He again brought up the Lakhimpur Kheri incident in which farmers were run over, and also appealed to the public to remain vigilant against "conspiracies" that can happen ahead of the polls, reminding them of the way that law and order has suffered in the state and petrol, diesel prices have been hiked nationwide.
