The Allahabad High Court has said in an important decision that two women have the right to a live-in-relationship and that the ethics of society cannot influence court decisions. The court has directed the police to provide protection to this gay couple resident in Shamli. The relationship of these women was facing opposition from the family and society and had demanded protection against these in their petition
