Salman Lashes Out At Restriction Violators, Calls Them 'Jokers'
While on one hand, health workers are engaged in a direct war against the coronavirus epidemic, on the other hand, they are being targeted at various places.
At some places, they are being threatened with eviction from their houses due to the fear of spread of the coronavirus and at other places, stones are being thrown at them.
After one such incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad, Bollywood actor Salman Khan has taken stone-pelters to task. He said, “Wow! Doctors and nurses came to save your lives and you pelted them with stones. Those who are being detected with the coronavirus are running away. Where will you run away to? Which direction are you running towards? Are you running towards life or are you running towards death?” Salman Khan said, “The Bigg Boss of life has begun, everyone is sitting at home. But there are some people who are violating it. What has the government said? Don’t go outside, don’t form a crowd. All this is for whom? All this is for us. If you want to offer the ‘namaz’, do it at home; worship God at home. We had learnt in childhood that God is within us. So, step out if you want to go to Bhagwan or Allah’s abode.” He said, “This disease is spreading due to a few jokers. It started in China and has ended in China but because of these few people, India will stay at home for a long time.”
