10 COVID-19 Patients Recover In Andaman & Nicobar
Ten coronavirus patients found on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands have been discharged from the hospital. All 10 patients have tested negative for the coronavirus in tests conducted after their treatment.

Chetan Sanghi, Chief Secretary of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, has said that all 10 people will be put under quarantine for two weeks after being discharged from the hospital.

The 10 patients found in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands are connected with the Tableeghi Jamaat. They had participated in the congregation held at the Jamaat headquarters in Delhi and then returned to Andaman by flight.

After this, symptoms of the coronavirus were found in two people in the screening at the airport.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands were the first to inform that coronavirus patients could be present at the Delhi-based headquarters of the Tableeghi Jamaat.

After this, the Central and state governments had gone into alert mode.

All 75 passengers of the two flights by which members of the Tableeghi Jamaat had reached Andaman have been placed under quarantine but they have not shown symptoms of the coronavirus.

At present, a total of 1,800 people are under quarantine on the Andaman and Nicobar islands.
