Several States Impose Fresh Lockdown Amid Spike In COVID-19 Infections

Kerala had also declared a tougher lockdown due to the spread of infection in Thiruvananthapuram. Whereas Tamil Nadu Government in Chennai and Assam has increased the lockdown in three districts including Guwahati.

Coronavirus infections have swamped after ICMR increased the testing across the country. Every day more than 22,000 are getting infected and 450 deaths are being reported on an average.
