Bengaluru Techie Recovers From COVID-19
Bengaluru techie Venkara Raghav recovers from COVID-19. Raghav self-quarantined himself at home upon his arrival from the US and later consulted a doctor when he showed symptoms, from where he was shifted to an isolation centre.

The number of coronavirus patients in the country has crossed 1,200 and over 30 people have succumbed to the illness so far. More than 100 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals.


Bengaluru resident Venkara Raghav had contracted the coronavirus but now he has beaten the disease and recovered fully.

Raghav said that when he arrived in Bengaluru from the United States on March 8, he had fever and he got apprehensive that he might have the coronavirus and so, he quarantined himself in his home.

After this, he reached the hospital and showed his travel history to the doctor, after which, he was admitted to the Isolation Centre the next day.

Raghav also said that in the isolation centre, patients have to take care of themselves. However, in the normal course, nurses take care of patients.

Raghav is a software engineer by profession. When he was going from London to US’ Los Angeles, he met several foreign passengers. Among them, there were many people from Italy, China and the US.

After coming into contact with so many people, Raghav too contracted the coronavirus infection. However, the good news is that he has now recovered fully from the coronavirus.
