CBSE Board Exams, JEE Mains Postponed Till March 3
Due to the rapidly-rising havoc wreaked by the coronavirus, the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry has instructed the CBSE and all other educational institutions of the country to postpone all examinations till March 31.

Coronavirus cases are steadily increasing in India and abroad, in view of which CBSE Class X and XII exams and other examinations have been postponed for the time being.


The government is making all possible efforts to deal with this virus and in light of this, the HRD Ministry, in a major step late on Wednesday evening, issued orders and postponed examinations by the CBSE and other educational institutions till March 31, so that vigilance is maintained.

Some Class IX students, who reached schools to appear in examinations said that because of exams being cancelled, their session will lag behind and they will have to work hard again for exams.

CBSE Class X students were scheduled to appear for the Information and Communication Technology and Computer Application paper on March 20.

Meanwhile, for Class XII, Hindi examination on March 20, Information Practice, Computer Science, Information Technology on March 21, Geography on March 23, Business on March 24, Home Science on March 26, Bio-Technology on March 28 and Sociology examination was scheduled to take place on March 30.

All these examinations have been postponed due to the coronavirus and now, their new dates will be announced later.

Examinations held in universities are also included in the notice issued by the Ministry. Along with this, the JEE Mains examination to be held in April will also be rescheduled.
