Elections For 18 Rajya Sabha Seats To Be Held On June 19: Election Commission

The Central Election Commission has issued notification for the election of 18 Rajya Sabha seats. Elections on all these Rajya Sabha seats will be held on June 19 and the results will also be declared on the same day.
Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora said that votes would be cast in, four seats each from Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, three each from Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, two from Jharkhand, one each from Manipur and Meghalaya.

In fact, earlier elections for all these seats were to be held on 26 March but due to the coronavirus induced lockdown, it was postponed by the Election Commission.
