Five Delhi Hotels Converted Into Temporary Corona Hospitals
The Delhi Government has issued an order to convert five hotels in the capital into Corona Hospitals after the COVID-19 situation in Delhi deteriorates. Batra Hospital and Research Center with Hotel Crowne Plaza, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital with Hotel Surya, Dr. Hotel Siddharth with BL Kapoor Memorial Hospital, Hotel Jivetesh with Sir Gangaram City Hospital and Hotel Sheraton with Max Super Specialty Hospital, Saket have been made Corona Hospitals.
These five hotels will be equipped with the necessary facilities for the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Here, positive patients will be admitted and a team of nurses, doctors will be deployed, who will be responsible for giving all the safety gears including PPE kits, N95 mask, and gloves.
At the same time, the services of the hotel staff will also be operational. Room cleaning, dining services will be provided by the hotel. The Delhi government has also fixed the rate for these hotels. The tariff of these five hotels converted into the hospital will be between Rupees four to five thousand. At present, more than 17 thousand cases of infection have been reported in the capital Delhi and 398 people have died.
