“I Must Be Free Now” Quarantined Hungarian National Demands Release After 55 Days In Bihar Hospital

Victor Zicho, a Hungarian cyclist claims that he has been quarantined at a Bihar hospital for almost 55 days now. Zicho tried to sneak past earlier and was on his way to Darjeeling in West Bengal when he was detained by policemen on NH57 near the Darbhanga district on Monday and was brought back to the hospital.
“You brought a healthy man into a hospital. Can you imagine being in a hospital for 55 days in a healthy condition? I must be free now,” Zicho is heard saying in the video which is shot in a tiny room in Chhapra Sadar town in Saran district of Bihar.
This video had caught the attention of Rashtriya Janata Dal leader Tejashwi Yadav who has initiated to help him during his stay there. “Mr. Zicho has been assured of good quality food and accommodation.” Tejashwi tweeted.
Spoke to Mr. Victor Zicho, a stranded Hungarian citizen & assured him of all possible assistance.Also directed District admin to ensure quality food & stay for him. Tejashwi Yadav mentioned in his tweet that he has spoken to the top officials to provide Mr. Zicho with the best and suggested to relocate the Hungarian cyclist to Patna for better facilities.

Tejashwi Yadav also tried to bring the issue to state Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s notice and said that in a spirit of our ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ the Hungarian cyclist should be given warmest hospitality and not traumatized in a hospital.
