Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain estimates that in the next two weeks the number of COVID-19 patients in the capital will increase to 56,000. He said that in 14-15 days the number of corona patients is doubling. Currently, 27,654 people have been affected by the virus in Delhi.

The Delhi government is increasing the capacity of beds in hospitals in view of the increasing number of coronavirus patients. Health Minister Satyendra Jain said that at present, the Delhi government has 8,500 to 9,000 beds. The capacity of beds will be increased to 15,000-17,000 in the next 15 days.


For the rising corona epidemic in the country, Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain has questioned the policies of the Central Government. He said that if the Central Government had stopped international flights at the right time, then the situation would have been better today. However, the Prime Minister has claimed in many of his addresses that his government took tough decisions at the right time, otherwise the situation would have been worse.
