Couple Ties The Knot On Facebook Live Ceremony Due
The government has implemented the second phase of the lockdown to fight the coronavirus. However, despite the lockdown, the wheel of life keeps turning, albeit slower than earlier.

One such example was seen in Maharashtra’s Arjunwadi, where a CRPF jawan held his nuptials on Facebook. Avinash is presently employed at the post of jawan (soldier) in CRPF and his current posting is in Jharkhand.

He was to get married to Kudnoor’s Rupali Nirmalkar on May 8, due to which he had taken leave and come to his village Arjunwadi.

However, Avinash knew that due to the coronavirus epidemic, he could be called for duty at any time.

That’s why he decided to get married before the appointed date so that there was no obstruction in his duty due to his marriage.

The couple got married on April 17 in a unique manner using Facebook Live.

Encouraging them, their friends and relatives numbering more than 200 connected with them on Facebook Live, participated in this auspicious ceremony and congratulated the pair online.

This wedding is special for another reason.

The newly-wed couple requested all their friends and relatives to send them money instead of wedding presents and gifts.

After this, Avinash and Rupali decided to donate the entire amount thus received to the Prime Minister’s and the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to fight the coronavirus.

The couple has also decided that they will distribute food among the poor and appealed to people that they too should serve the nation to their maximum ability during this difficult time.
