DDCA Members' Fist Fight In Annual General Body Meet
Ruckus erupted at the annual meeting of the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) on Sunday, in which two sides exchanged blows.
During the commotion, two sides could be seen beating each other up. A video of the fisticuffs has gone viral on social media, due to which questions are being raised about the DDCA.
Sharing the video of the scuffle on Twitter, former cricketer and Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Gautam Gambhir termed the incident as shameful and urged Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly to take notice of the matter and dissolve the DDCA immediately. He also demanded that a life ban be imposed on people involved in the incident. However, Ganguly has not issued any statement nor has he tweeted in this matter till now. Meanwhile, Justice (Retd.) Deepak Varma has been appointed as the new ombudsman of the DDCA in its annual meeting. Election to the post of DDCA President will be held on January 13, 2020. Watch the full report here
