India-China Border Dispute: What Will Opposition D
The death of unarmed Indian soldiers in a violent skirmish with the Chinese Army in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley has given the Opposition a chance to corner the Central Government.

On the Indo-China border dispute and the martyrdom of 20 soldiers, the PM has called an all-party meeting with the presidents of all parties on Friday. If sources are to be believed, PM Modi in the meeting will discuss the real situation on the Ladakh border to all parties. The PM will also ask from opinion from the presidents of the Government allies and the main opposition parties.

However, all eyes are on whether the National President of the main opposition party attends this meeting or not? If they do, then what is their opinion on the border dispute? Among the main opposition parties are Congress, SP, BSP, RJD and several South Indian parties.

If sources are to be believed, the interim president of Congress Sonia Gandhi will attend this meeting.

Ever since the violent clash on Monday night, the Congress has been questioning the foreign policy of the Central Government. Former Congress president and Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi, has launched a fierce attack against PM Modi.

In a video to pay tribute to the fallen soldiers, Rahul Gandhi questioned the responsibility of the Government.

Gandhi attacked PM Modi, through a video message that "Brothers and sisters, China has committed a big crime by killing unarmed Indian soldiers. I want to know who sent these unarmed soldiers in the harm’s way and why. Who is responsible?’

With the news of the border dispute, Mayawati had made it clear by tweeting that she stands with him in the policies of the government.

In a series of tweets, BSP Chief Mayawati saluted the martyrdom of the Indian soldiers. Expressing confidence with the government, she wrote that he hoped that the Central Government would take the right decision at the right time.

She also asked the Central and State Government to provide financial help to the families of martyred soldiers.
