Thiruvananthapuram: India To Play 2nd T20 Against
The second match of the three-match T20 series between India and the West Indies will be played at Thiruvananthapuram’s Greenfield International Stadium on Sunday.

India is ahead by 1-0 in the series after winning the first match and it will now try to increase its lead to 2-0 by winning the second match.

Team India is in superb form currently by winning the first T20 match against the West Indies, which was played in Hyderabad on Friday. India had defeated the West Indies by six wickets in the match. This is India’s biggest victory in a T20 series while chasing a total.

The hero of the Hyderabad match was captain Virat Kohli, who scored an unbeaten 94. K.L. Rahul made a whirlwind 62 runs.

Figures reveal that India is the stronger side against the West Indies. The two teams have played a total of 15 T20 matches, in which India has won nine and the West Indies has won five; one match remained inconclusive.

The West Indies’ T20 record in India is poor, as it has defeated Team India in India just once in the last 10 years.

The two teams have played a total of five T20 matches in India, out of which India has won four matches and the West Indies has won one match. Apart from this, Team India has not suffered a single defeat against the West Indies in the last two years.

The third and final match of the T20 series will be played in Mumbai on December 11. After the T20 series is over, the one-day series will be played, which will begin from December 15.

This year, after the World Cup, Team India had gone to the West Indies and defeated it on its home turf by 3-0 in the T20 series and 2-0 in the Test series.
