Former Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi Tests COVID-19 Positive

Former Pakistan cricket captain Shahid Afridi has tested positive for Coronavirus.

Taking to Twitter, he said, “I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately I’m covid positive. Need prayers for a speedy recovery, InshaAllah.”

There has been a sudden spurt in cases of coronavirus in Pakistan. The number of infections has crossed 1.32 lakh, while more than 2,500 deaths have been reported. According to Johns Hopkins University, Pakistan has reached number 15 in the global list of Coronavirus-affected countries.
