COVID-19: Over 11,000 New Cases For Second Day Running, 325 Deaths In 24 Hours
Over 11,000 cases of coronavirus cases were found in the country for the second consecutive day, with over 3,000 deaths over the last 24 hours. Latest figures of the Health Ministry show that the number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 332,424, out of which the number of active cases is above 1.53 lakh. Meanwhile, the death toll has climbed to 9,520.
On Saturday, 11,929 cases were reported across the country and 311 deaths. The meeting of such a large number of infections for two consecutive days shows that the central and state governments have failed miserably in preventing the pandemic. It is being said that there may be a further jump in these figures if the number of COVID-19 testing is increased. So far, a total of 5,774,133 samples have been tested across the country, but it is very less compared to other countries.
