Twitter To Ban Political Ads On Its Platform From November 22

Twitter CEO, Jack Dorsey, on Wednesday announced to “stop all political advertising on Twitter globally” on his twitter handle.
One of the most influential personalities in the social networking industry, Jack, in a series of tweets made the announcement public, a decision which is expected to seriously hurt his company’s revenues.
“We believe political message reach should be earned, not bought” said the CEO of Twitter who along with Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has been on the line of fire from several politicians across the party lines in many countries. “While internet advertising is incredibly powerful and very effective for commercial advertisers, that power brings significant risks to politics, where it can be used to influence votes to affect the lives of millions”, wrote Jack

Social media rival Facebook recently ruled out a ban on political ads. “It‘s not credible” he wrote, for us to say: ‘We’re working hard to stop people from gaming our systems to spread misleading info, buuut if someone pays us to target and force people to see their political ad…well...they can say whatever they want!”’We’ve made the decision to stop all political advertising on Twitter globally. Democrat Hillary Clinton came in support of Jack Dorsey and called it "the right thing to do for democracy" and asked Facebook's response on the matter. Twitter's ban will be enforced from 22 November, with full details released by 15 November.This is the right thing to do for democracy in America and all over the world.
