Air Quality Slips Back To 'Very Poor' Category In Delhi-NCR
After a couple of days of 'unhealthy' air, the air quality of Delhi NCR has once again deteriorated after it reached “very poor” category as per reading in the AQI.
AQI is above 300 in many areas of Delhi NCR on Thursday. For example, PM 2.5 was recorded at 346 ('Very Poor' category) in the area around Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
In Delhi’s Lodhi Road area, the PM2.5 level was 308 and PM10 level was 163 in the morning. In Chandni Chowk, PM 2.5 level was 394 and PM10 level was 433 here. The PM 2.5 level was recorded 314 and PM10 level was 192 near Delhi Airport whereas in Noida, PM2.5 level was 361 and PM10 level stood at 276.
