Rang De Basanti Cast Adds Voice To Anti-CAA Protests

While Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra participated in the protest against the Citizenship Act at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan on Thursday, actor Siddharth took to Twitter and shared a dialogue from the film: ‘Ab bhi jo na khaula woh khoon nahi hai paani hai... Jo desh ke kaam na aaye woh bekaar jawaani hai’. He also said that revolution is the life-blood of democracy.
Soha Ali Khan tweeted: “The right to peaceful protest is fundamental to ideals of democracy and constitutionalism. Please keep the protests non-violent and those in governance please exercise restraint.” She also said, “Our children and students should feel safe on their campuses and not fearful of the police.”Ab bhi jo na khaula woh khoon nahi hai paani hai...
