Centre Calls For Talks, Farmers Say ‘No Talks Till All 500 Groups Are Called’
It was decided that next round of talks will be held on Dec 3 but farmers are agitating, it's winter & there's COVID. So meeting should be held earlier. So farmer leaders - present in 1st round of talks - have been invited at Vigyan Bhavan on Dec 1 at 3 pm: Agriculture Minister https://t.co/1y5DNCT0U0— ANI (@ANI) November 30, 2020
Agriculture Secretary Sanjay Aggarwal has written a letter to the representatives of 32 farmer unions and invited them for discussion on December 1. The organisations include the Revolutionary Kisan Union, Jammuhari Kisan Sabha, Bharatiya Kisan Sabha (Dakuda), Kul Hind Kisan Sabha and Punjab Kisan Union. But the farmer leaders have also expressed reservations about the meeting called by the Agriculture Minister. Punjab Kisan Sangharsh Committee Joint Secretary Sukhwinder S Sabran said: “there are more than 500 groups of farmers in the country, but the government has invited only 32 groups for talks. The rest haven't been called. We won't be going for talks till all groups are called”.
Meanwhile, on Tuesday morning, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi once again targeted the Centre. He tweeted, “the food growers is sitting in protest on the roads and fields and speeches are being given on TV. We all are indebted to the hard work of farmers. This debt will be over only by giving them justice and their rights, and not by mistreating them or by beating them with batons or using tear gas against them”. He also asked the government to wake up and shed “arrogance” to give agitating farmers their rights.

Farmers have set camps at the borders of the capital and are not ready to budge and now they are preparing to seal the 5 entry points of Delhi. The farmers clearly say that they have come to Delhi for a decisive battle and their protests will continue till the demands are met.

‘झूठ’ टीवी पर भाषण!
किसान की मेहनत का हम सब पर क़र्ज़ है।
ये क़र्ज़ उन्हें न्याय और हक़ देकर ही उतरेगा, न कि उन्हें दुत्कार कर, लाठियाँ मारकर और आंसू गैस चलाकर।
जागिए, अहंकार की कुर्सी से उतरकर सोचिए और किसान का अधिकार दीजिए।
